Title: WordPress for Schools

Description: Come learn how Newark Public Schools (40,000 students) migrated from an expensive proprietary SaaS to WordPress multisite (70+ sites) and cut their annual web site budget in half three years in a row. Topics covered will be: saving taxpayer money, content migration, finding a competent development partner and mobile app development (via AppPresser).
Bio: Cameron Barrett is the Head of Web Site Innovation & Strategy at Newark Public Schools. He has over 15 years of experience designing, building and using hundreds of CMS solutions (Note: almost all of them suck). He’s designed and built web sites and online communities for presidential campaigns, large non-profits, the U.S. Army, e-commerce and pretty much everything in-between.
