Mitch is having trouble with his WinXP Compaq laptop. I agree with him that the IBM Thinkpads are a better choice, as are most of the Apple latops.
This is great. Someone finally wrote about the apartments we see in New York- based sitcoms and TV shows and is asking how the characters can afford such nice places. Struggling actor Joey from “Friends” should not be able to afford his 2BR (estimated $4,000/mo.) apartment. When you think about it, the apartments in “Seinfeld” were actually realistic, even the episodes that featured apartment-hunting and brokering.
