Synopsis: In college I studied everything from creative writing and journalism to graphic design and telecommunications management. My strong understanding of both the creative and technical aspects of the Internet makes me extraordinarily well-rounded and able to work alongside both writers and designers as well as engineers and computer programmers.

While at WMU, I studied journalism, creative writing, telecommunications, broadcast sales, linguistics, graphic design, painting, telecommunications law, and newspaper design. I was the Graphics Editor and Managing Editor of the college daily newspaper where I was responsible for the daily production and design. I also worked in the Instructional Technology Services office where I used my HTML and Internet skills to develop instructional web sites.

At NMC, I studied graphic design, creative writing, sociology and magazine design. I was the Managing Editor of the college literary magazine. I also worked as a graphic designer for the college newspaper. In 1994, I designed the college's first web site.
