Eat Shit & Die (a story fragment) by Cameron Barrett Aidan became famous for eating shit. As a child, he discovered cat food. His favorite was Meow Mix with its earthy colors and salty taste. His mother was worried that the cat did not like Aidan, and when it scratched him, she threw it out on its furry ass. Life was normal for Aidan until he began to ask for it by name. Aidan's cat food fetish was only the beginning. Aidan started collecting bugs. He had piles of dead bugs stacked up by size under his bed. He had collected them from the windowsills and when he had checked every sill in the house, he went over to the neighbors' and did the same. He liked the feel of them in his pockets, squishing between his fingers. Now that the cat was gone, Aidan began to eat his bugs. He liked the way they crunched and crackled between his teeth. The ones on the bottom....
