Caenorhabditis elegans

A George Bell

excerpt:

“In the Laboratory of Doctor
Lewis Jacobson I successfully performed starvation
experiments on Caenorhabditis
elegans
to ascertain the protein
degradation pathway of a Beta Galactosidase Fusion Protein.
In the same Laboratory I began the insertion of a CCIS56
gene, which encodes for a Beta Galactosidase Fusion Protein
with a nuclear location sequence, into a Him8 mutant of
Caenorhabditis elegans.”

Remember
Robert
Cringely
? The host for the awesome PBS special, “Triumph
of the Nerds.”

“My TV just
crashed.”
Or, “Mom, the TV won’t boot!”
